Abstract

Infectious diseases are diseases that occur as a result of pathogenic microorganisms entering the human body, multiplying and having a harmful effect. An infectious disease can have a negative effect on any human body. A high level of human immunity is of great importance in combating pathogenic microorganisms. As a result of the targeted implementation of complex preventive and anti-epidemic measures throughout the world, including in the Republic of Uzbekistan, great progress has been made in combating infectious diseases. There are seasonal diseases that are most common among the population, especially children, during the hot summer days. One of these is acute diarrhea. It is also popularly called diarrhea. In order to prevent various diseases, in particular infectious diseases, it is of great importance to educate the younger generation in the family and inform them about the role of preventive measures in various diseases, as well as personal hygiene rules. As we know, acute intestinal diseases are the most common of all infectious diseases. Acute intestinal diseases cause the death of about 5 million young children in the world every year. The problem of bacterial diarrhea occupies one of the leading places in the pathology of infectious diseases and remains relevant to this day. According to data, the incidence of bacterial diarrhea remains high in most countries, especially in some regions of our republic. Humans are highly susceptible to diarrhea, but this disease most often affects children under 3 years of age. Compared to adults, the incidence of children under 14 years of age remains high. Environmental factors, in particular, water, food products, and dirty hands, household items (dishes, plates, etc.), play an important role in the development of this disease. At the same time, flies, mosquitoes and bees also play a major role in the spread of intestinal infections in the summer and autumn months. In particular, improving the supply of drinking water to the population allows for a steady decrease in intestinal diseases. At the same time, failure to follow food storage rules can also lead to illness.
